PC-12

Tightening NOx and greenhouse gas emissions regulations are driving changes to heavy-duty diesel engines and aftertreatment systems, which place increased demands on the engine oil. The Truck and Engine Manufacturers Association has formally requested a new engine oil performance category, known as PC-12, to help ensure lubricants continue to deliver sufficient protection to all appropriate vehicles when used as recommended.
